This week the students have been busy finishing off their Science Fair Projects in order to present them on Thursday. They have all worked independently on these projects and can be proud of their efforts!
In maths they have been revising their addition and subtraction knowledge and applying what they have learnt. The 7x tables was the tables to be learnt this week and we had our timed tables test today! On you-tube there is a great song which the students can use to practice their tables with!
For language the students have been writing about a “Mad Scientist” just to finish off this UOI. I have been impressed by the effort they have put into their stories. They are using great vocabulary and also making the effort to use paragraphs and punctuation.
I hope you had time on Thursday to come in to view their Science Fair Projects. It was so interesting to see the students discussing their findings with their peers and parents.
