The Secondary Concert has been moved to the evening of the 2nd of December. Students are asked to be in the MPA at 6.15pm for a 6.30 start. The show has Friendship as its main theme with students singing songs and creating their dances with this in mind. For Dance students, this forms part of an assessment that covers Dance Composition, use of Choreographic Principles, ability to use Performance Principles and how much they show they can appreciate Jazz Dancing. I am really looking forward to seeing our performers strut their stuff! This evening event is open to all families.
The Primary Jazz Dance Assembly has also been moved. It will be held on Wednesday the 3rd of December, at 2.45pm, as Thursday December 4th is a teacher day. Students are asked to wear a white shirt, no logos, words or patterns, any style. They must wear black long pants, again no logos, words or patterns. The pants can be trousers, jeans or leggings. Just black. The children will have bare feet. This is our younger children’s opportunity to show what they can do with dance and how well they can express Jazz. All are welcome!
