Grade four made butter today. They took a small container with a marble and added cream, and then shook vigorously for a very very VERY long time. The action created a reaction – the buttermilk SEPARATED from the cream and the part that was left was butter. Several students opted to drink the buttermilk – and they liked it very much – and they will bring the butter home for you to try. Please return the containers.
