We found this little guy in our school garden. A bit of research from the very knowledgeable Mr. Akestrom revealed it to be a sort of Hawk Moth caterpillar. Ms. Fitch did not want it eating our lettuce anymore but she is too much of a softie to give it a good squish. So, it is now living in this jar in the hopes it will spin a cocoon and fly away!
