Yesterday, 20th November 2012, the Grade Three students together with their teacher Mrs. Hampton and three very kind parents Linda Stam, Pieter De Timmerman and Jassura Calil visited the Majis Water Treatment Plant at the Port of Sohar. We were all treated so well by the staff and their level of professionalism and commitment to our visit is highly appreciated.
The students had a bus tour around the Water Filtration Plant and no photos were allowed during that point. We were then treated to an interactive learning session in the Board Room with a presentation on Water Conservation. The students received a gift at the end and a packed lunch.
This was a very informative and enjoyable experience that we will always remember. Special thanks to Mr. Fahad Ali Salim for communicating with Mrs. Hampton to plan the successful trip and Mr. Maurice Hacheme the Customer Services Manager.
