This week we started our Passion Projects. We started with Sanna, Prisha, Courtney, Newton, Alla, Oleg, Deema and Trina. The rules were:
Don’t read everything
Speak clearly
Be loud
Their heroes were: Sanna – Robin Hood. Prisha – Jane Goodall. Courtney – Sultan Qaboos. Newton – Jose Rizal. Alla – Sultan Qaboos. Oleg – Henry Ford. Deema – firefighters. Trina – Nelson Mandela.
Their feelings were: Sanna – excited. Prisha – excited. Courtney – scared. Newton – Good. Alla – Passionate and excited. Oleg – nervous. Deema – really happy. Trina – nervous.
In your Passion Project you had to include how the person is a hero. Our sentence was “Heroes are a reflection of ideas, hopes and values.”

Today is our last day for our passion projects. We started with Michael, Tahlyn, Yann, Sachin, Abhishek, Spencer and Claire was last. The rules were you must not read the whole thing, just a tiny bit. You must also include “Heroes are a reflection of ideas, hopes and values.” It was the most important thing. Most of the people did theirs in a really good way and spoke loudly. Michael did the Wright Brothers. Tahlyn did Nelson Mandela, Yann did Iron Man, Sachin did Sachin Tendulkar. Spencer did Neil Armstrong. Last of all Claire did Martin Luther King Junior. Some were nervous and some were excited. They did so good for the first time.
