Dear Parents,
The quarter is progressing nicely. As routines set, students are getting more comfortable with the higher expectations of G5. In all subjects we are transitioning from review topics into new ones. Please check the broadcaster regularly for updates as things develop.
A few important notes:
1. Book orders have to be in by tomorrow, Tuesday, 25 September.
2. G5 has their first spelling quiz this Wednesday. Please talk to your son/daughter about their words. They have been working with them since Week 1.
3. Next week is Book Week at ABIS. If parents would like to volunteer to read for G5, please email me as soon as possible. g.george@abisoman.com. Kids are asked to dress up as their favorite book character on Wednesday, 3 October.
4. Please look out for an important letter from me tomorrow regarding the current Unit Of Inquiry and the students’ Personal Passion Projects (P3).
