After School Activities – September 2012

Issued: Saturday, 8th September
Activities commence: Saturday, 22nd September Hand in: Before Sunday, 16th September.

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
Please find attached the after-school activities sign-up sheet. To fit in with the holiday periods we will run clubs over 11 weeks running up to the winter break and then two 9 week blocks fitted around spring break. Please read the notes, keep this sheet safe and hand in only the attached sign up sheet. Clubs will run on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays from 3:20 pm to 4:15 pm.

Procedure:

Put your name and grade on the sign up sheet!
Read the information supplied about each activity to ensure that you are choosing the right activity for you.
Some activities have limited numbers, so be sure to sign up fast as admissions will be on a first come, first served basis.
Mark 1 next to your first choice and 2 next to your second for each day that you wish to attend a club. If your first choice activity is already full, you are likely to get your second choice.
Please hand your completed activity forms, signed by your parent/guardian, to Ruqaiya and Eiman at Reception.
NOT TO YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHER.

Your activity sheet will be returned to you with a tick next to the activity you are registered for. It should be then kept (on your fridge?) for future reference.

A classroom will be made available for pupils who are waiting for their siblings to finish their club. In this room pupils should complete homework or read. There should be no-one unsupervised in school during afterschool activities, so please ensure that your child uses this facility if they are waiting for a sibling.
