What’s up in Art?
Each Tuesday for six weeks, we had art with Miss Anja where we made a windmill. We used beads, string, bottles, glue guns, a plastic melter, rubber bands, wires and more. We had many problems making the windmills. My problem was friction. That means the windmill wouldn’t go smoothly. Some of the students including me were burned by the glue gun.
The rest of the time we have art with Ms. Saunders. Recently we did symmetry art. Symmetry art is when you draw lines on the paper and pretend that the lines are a mirror and each side is a reflection of the other. Now we are doing portraits where we draw a person’s face. The face has so many details, like eyelashes, eyebrows, shadows, irises, pupils, nostrils and more. We have to find our favourite portrait artist.
