Who pays private payer fees?
The tuition fee is payable by all parents and is charged annually based on the student’s grade level. Parents who do not receive an employer educational allowance, or who receive less than 50% support (of regular fees) via an employer allowance, are invoiced at the private payer rate. A confirmation letter from the parent’s employer may be required before the start of the academic year to apply for private payer fees.

Important notes
- The fees above do not include company support and represent the full amount per student, per grade level.
- The tuition fee is payable by all parents. It is an annual fee based on the student’s grade level and is due before the start of the new academic year.
- Any invoice sent directly to an employer, or any case where tuition fee support exceeds 50%, follows the regular fee schedule above.
Late enrolment
If a student enrols after the start of the school year, tuition fees are reduced as follows:
| 1 September – 31 October | No reduction |
| 1 November – 31 January | 30% reduction |
| 1 February – 30 April | 50% reduction |
| After 30 April | 75% reduction |
Withdrawal
If a student withdraws before the end of the school year, tuition fees are reduced as follows:
| 1 September – 31 January | 25% reduction |
| After 31 January | No reduction |
Technology fee
Paid before the start of the academic year, covering use of the school iPad or MacBook and related IT support.
Registration fee
Payable at the time of registration. A one-off, non-refundable payment, including in cases where ABIS is unable to place the student.
Technology deposit
Due before the student receives their iPad/MacBook, held against loss or damage. Refunded when the device is returned in expected condition upon the student’s departure.
Capital fee
Supports the ongoing development of ABIS facilities, technology, and learning spaces. Payable by parents of newly enrolled non-Omani students, or applied when a non-Omani student moves from KG2 into Grade 1, before 1 September of the new academic year.
