Secondary students working together to deepen  their understandings

preparing for the future

Where we are affects who we are.

Our school is designed around learning. We have combined the latest research into the impact that environments have on success with our knowledge of how children learn to create a special space.

A place of learning…

The Middle Years Programme for students in Grade 7 – 10

We are a candidate school for the MYP. It is a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, the MYP is inclusive by design; students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from their participation.

Middle school students challenged to be their best

Primary children are like sponges, sucking up all the new and exciting things that are presented to them. At ABIS we work hard to understand the strengths of each individual child and use that understanding to help them develop in all areas of the curriculum.

Sometimes you just need to put your head down and concentrate!

Challenging & rigorous

Books and examples of work are everywhere in our school. We want children to be surrounded by examples of excellence so they recognise what it looks like… and how much work is required to create it!

Broad & inclusive

ABIS challenges our students to give their best all the time. We believe that only if they are encouraged to understand that good things come to people who work hard will they really be able to achieve their full potential.

The Diploma Programme for oldest students

Research suggests many benefits to choosing the DP. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
