We had a wonderful tour guide who showed us the features and details of a traditional Omani castle. Highlights included a peek of the jail, a demonstration of khanjar knife, sitting rooms with antique tea services, and traditional wedding jewelry. The weather was lovely and the children enjoyed walking around the grounds.<\/p>\n<p>After the visit in Barka, we checked in to our hotel and made our way over the beach at Shatti al Qurm. The kids had a blast! They splashed in the water, made sand castles, played football, ran in relay races, and just enjoyed having some free play. We ate dinner at a tasty pizza place and made our way back to the hotel to get settled in for the night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is already pretty tired and ready for a long night sleep for our big day tomorrow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here is the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/photos\/S8X1EPvkBPxdANoRA\">link to a web album<\/a> containing some photos from the day.
