\nThen we did an experiment to create Carbon Dioxide. We mixed vinegar and Baking soda,the gas went into the balloon and it became bigger and bigger!!!!<\/p>\n
We have been focussing on Gases. What is a gas? How can we see gas?
\nWhen asked what a gas is, these were the replies:
\n– water is a gas
\n– a gas is hot
\n– it is something that comes from your bottom
\n– air and steam is a gas
\n– gas comes from the car exhaust
\n– milk and juice is a gas
\n– a house is a gas
\n– paper is a gas
\n– behind the airplane comes gas
\n– bubbles is a gas<\/p>\n
So we have been doing some experiments to help understand what a gas is. We learnt that we breathe gases in and out of our bodies.
\nTo explain that the air is an example of a gas, we had some fun. We made parachutes, did some experiments to show the presence of air,did bubble painting and blew bubbles.<\/p>\n
