An exciting few weeks coming up for ABIS students with Sports Day next Wednesday followed by preparing and going on our Oman Week adventures in early February.
\nSPORTS DAY
\nStudents have been hard at work practicing their athletics skills in P.E lessons and we look forward to some exciting races come Wednesday. Events will begin at 8:30 am and the day completed by 2:00 pm. Students from Grade 1 and up will begin their events at 8:30 am with long distance running followed by their sprint races. Kindergarten students are scheduled to start their races at 11:00 am followed by house relays. After the relays we will break for lunch before beginning our tabloid programme.
\nAll families intending to drive to Sohar Aluminium for the day will be required to show a school security clearance that we will send home with students on Monday. We look forward to seeing you there.
\nOMAN WEEK
\nTeachers will be sending out letters next week outlining their Oman Week Outdoor Education trips. This letter will outline the intended program for each class and will include the destination, activities and estimated costs. Depending on the class it may also provide feedback to trip planners which parents may be able to help out where necessary.
\nWe plan to hold an Oman Week meeting with parents on Sunday, 20th January to finalize plans and hand out student packs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
