Saturday January 5 has seen them enter their energy unit with &#8230; ah&#8230;energy!  They are starting with the fundamental question &#8211; WHAT IS ENERGY? A visit outdoors to observe movement and to consider where it comes from and what causes it has led to the following thoughts: movement is energy, it requires some sort of outside influence to get it started, and even when things look still, they might be using energy for such things as growth.  <\/p>\n<p>Students used viewing, writing, speaking, listening and reading to investigate this question.
