{"id":8014,"date":"2012-12-19T09:43:11","date_gmt":"2012-12-19T05:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=8014"},"modified":"2012-12-19T09:43:11","modified_gmt":"2012-12-19T05:43:11","slug":"dance-for-the-primary-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2012\/12\/19\/dance-for-the-primary-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Dance for the Primary School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parents &#8211; please note!<\/p>\n<p>Now that the Seussical has been put to rest, the Dance classes in the Primary School are working on the Folk Dance segment of the year&#8217;s studies. \u00a0Students will be performing around MARCH an Omani Dance from Al Batinah Province, and a folk dance from somewhere else in the world. \u00a0Parents are asked to ensure their boys have a dishdasha for this event. \u00a0Parents of girls &#8211; we are collecting Al Batinah style dresses, but we would like to know if you have one already &#8211; this will reduce the numbers of dresses we will need to find. \u00a0If you have an Al Batinah dress, let Ms Saunders or Miss Khadiga know.<\/p>\n<p>Secondary School have commenced choreographing their own dances, after an intensive look at choreographic principles, expressive intent, and dance motifs. \u00a0Coming up in their studies are performance principles, which will impact the staging of their numbers. \u00a0We are looking forward to seeing the final result &#8211; stay tuned for their performance dates!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parents &#8211; please note!
