About the Seussical<\/p>\n
When it was my first lesson of music, I didn’t know what to do, but Mrs. Akerstrom told me that we were doing a musical and she also told me that I’m going to be a circus animal. \u00a0Yesterday we had rehearsal in the gym. \u00a0I really like the musical. \u00a0I think the musical is going to be on the 11th of December 2012. \u00a0I am going to be dressed as a kangaroo. \u00a0I love the musical<\/p>\n

Our Music Lesson<\/p>\n
First we learned more steps for the “Green Eggs and Ham” song and “It’s Possible” in the Seussical. \u00a0The songs we sang were “Oh the Things you can Think,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” and “Here on Who.” \u00a0We practiced our lines and the dancing that we already knew. \u00a0The last song I practiced was “It’s Possible.” \u00a0I’m a bird girl with Amanda, Veerle, Aishwarya and Nur.<\/p>\n

Music Morning<\/p>\n
This morning we were supposed to do language but we went to music to practice our musical. \u00a0Our musical is called Seussical by Dr Seuss. \u00a0We have started practicing the musical for about one week and today we went to music to practice it. \u00a0Every one is a character in the Seussical. \u00a0I am one of the Who Family and Trina is Jojo and Prisha is Mr. Mayor. \u00a0After 3 weeks we are going to present it in front of all the parents in the gym. \u00a0Today the Who Family is going to Mrs. Akerstrom to practice their songs and steps. \u00a0Trina is lucky because she gets to keep the microphone in her hand all the time and I like to keep the microphone in my hand. \u00a0But still I am in the Seussical. \u00a0So that is fun!\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Seussical<\/p>\n
This morning our class went to music. \u00a0Well, it’s really the Seussical. \u00a0Grade four and grade five and grade three are doing it. \u00a0It’s a two hour play. \u00a0He writes books using rhyming words. \u00a0I’m a hunter and I sing where the book says ALL or CITIZENS OF THE JUNGLE or HUNTERS. \u00a0We sing there and dance. \u00a0There are more hunters in the class. \u00a0We have a book where our words are. \u00a0There are 2 types of books – originals and copies. \u00a0I have a copy and after the Seussical I can keep it!<\/p>\n

Music Morning<\/p>\n
On Sunday morning, we were practicing for the Seussical. \u00a0It is three weeks away. \u00a0My class was supposed to have language for the first two periods of the day but instead of that we had music. \u00a0The first thing we did was warm up. \u00a0I am a hunter in the musical. \u00a0When we finished warming up, we sang the first song which was “Oh the Things you can Think.” It was the first song in the musical. \u00a0The next song we sang was “Green Eggs and Ham.” After that song, we sang “Egg, Nest and Tree.”<\/p>\n

This morning I did a music project called the Seussical. \u00a0First it was fun, but you know, I was tired. \u00a0First thing I did was the beginning song. \u00a0I did it two times. \u00a0It was really fun. \u00a0We practiced the dance too. \u00a0Then Mrs Akerstrom said “Be here at the break” to me and Spencer. \u00a0We had a lot of words to sing but we did our best. \u00a0I’m a Wickersham Brother. \u00a0We sang and sang until finally we had a pause for one minute. \u00a0Everybody needed to sing.<\/p>\n

First we did some warming up. \u00a0And the fun thing was that we had dance moves. \u00a0Sometimes we had to do the music two times, when we got it wrong. \u00a0My favourite thing was “Here on Who” and “Green Eggs and Ham.” Those songs had a good beat. \u00a0Oh I forgot! \u00a0I am the Mayor. \u00a0Trina is Jojo, my son, Kalea is Mrs Mayor. \u00a0Also some of my friends are in the background. \u00a0I like the musical. \u00a0It’s creative and magical. \u00a0It’s got a lot of imagination words. \u00a0Some people have a lot to say. \u00a0Everyone did a good job. I like music sometimes.<\/p>\n
