As we progress through the academic term, it is a pleasure to look back on all we have accomplished together across our grade levels. It continues to be a rewarding period of growth, collaboration, and exploration in our music and academic programs.<\/p>\n
Grade 7: Video Game Compositions Our Grade 7 students are making wonderful progress creating their own original compositions for a video game, exploring how music enhances interactive storytelling and digital media.<\/p>\n
Grade 8: The Blues Scale In Grade 8, students are diving into music theory and practice by learning how to use the Blues scale to develop their improvisation and stylistic understanding.<\/p>\n
Grade 9: Rock Song Performances & Context Grade 9 students are hard at work rehearsing and refining their performances of classic rock songs, deepening their appreciation by studying the historical and cultural contexts behind the music.<\/p>\n
Grade 10: Adapting Songs to Jazz Our Grade 10 students are exploring sophisticated arrangement techniques as they learn how to adapt familiar songs into distinct jazz styles.<\/p>\n
Looking Ahead As we continue through the term, we look forward to great things to come for the rest of the year.<\/p>\n
