Using these two new questions, the students created a real-time Classroom Pet Chart<\/b> to collect, count, and analyze data across our group:<\/p>\n

Cats & Rabbits:<\/b> We recorded 3 students with cats and 3 with rabbits. Some learners highlighted that they have multiple pets (up to 2) at home.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Exploring the Concept of Zero (0):<\/b> Students identified and counted 0<\/b> for snakes, mice, and birds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Classroom Diversity:<\/b> We discussed that many of our peers do not have pets, helping children recognize that every family dynamic is unique.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Because several classmates were absent due to illness, our data for questions #9 and #10 is not yet complete. The children practiced phrasing their inquiry questions today and are prepared to interview their returning peers to finalize our chart.<\/p>\n
