We also worked on blending sounds together and completed some simple comprehension activities, including reading sentences and drawing matching pictures.<\/p>\n<p>We spent time working together in teams and explored different ways to communicate and collaborate effectively. We talked about and demonstrated strategies such as listening to one another, being kind, sharing and taking turns. The children had lots of opportunities to practise these skills while working together.<\/p>\n<p>We counted in 2s and explored this concept by making groups of 2.
