The music room has officially come alive with curiosity, movement, and the joy of shared music-making.<\/div>\n<div>Here is a look at the musical adventures that unfolded across our year levels this week:<\/div>\n<div><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Early Years Discovery (KG 1 &amp; KG 2)<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Our youngest learners stepped into the wonderful world of instrument families! Through listening, exploration, and hands-on discovery, students began identifying the distinct looks and sounds of different instruments, sparking plenty of early musical wonder.<\/div>\n<div><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Foundational Grooves (Grades 1 &amp; 2)<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Grades 1 and 2 jumped straight into the heartbeat of music by focusing on <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"110\">rhythm and creating rhythmic patterns<\/b>. Using body percussion and percussion instruments, students explored how beats combine to make exciting musical sentences of their own.<\/div>\n<div><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Upper Primary Explorations (Grades 3 \u2013 6)<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Our upper primary musicians hit the ground running with a comprehensive dive into the fundamentals of music literacy. Students focused on mastering <b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"190\">rhythm, navigating the music staff, and building note-reading skills<\/b> to set a rock-solid foundation for the year&#8217;s musical voyage ahead.<\/div>\n<div>The stage is set for an incredible year of artistic growth and expression.
