This week has been a full one! We continued working on settling into our classroom procedures and routines<\/strong>, helping the children become more confident and independent in their new environment. We also spent time familiarising the children with their small groups and our small-group rotation system<\/strong>. The children are beginning to understand how the rotations work and are becoming more comfortable moving between activities and working with different classmates.<\/p>\n In Phonics, we introduced the \/s\/ sound<\/strong>. We listened to our Jolly Phonics song and explored the shape and formation of the letter s<\/strong>. The children had lots of fun practising their letter formation by using dot painters to follow the dots and form an s<\/strong> from top to bottom.<\/p>\n It has certainly been a busy week, but it has also been wonderful to see the children becoming more familiar with their classroom, routines and friends. We are very proud of the way they are settling in and look forward to another week of learning and discovering together!<\/p>\n KG2 \u2013 Another Busy Week of Learning!
