We explored <strong data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1683\">atomic structure, the periodic table, and writing chemical formulae for monoatomic and polyatomic ions<\/strong>. Next week, we will move into chemical reactions, essential mathematical skills and using the <strong data-start=\"1778\" data-end=\"1807\">IB Chemistry Data Booklet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"2149\">Our <strong data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1831\">G12 Chemistry<\/strong> students began with a recap of <strong data-start=\"1863\" data-end=\"1888\">Structures 1, 2 and 3<\/strong>, using mind maps to consolidate their knowledge. We then introduced <strong data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"1986\">Reactivity 1 \u2013 Energetics<\/strong>, including a practical investigation into energy changes in endothermic and exothermic reactions.
