Dear Parents,<\/p>\n
It has been wonderful to welcome our students and families back to ABIS for the start of the 2026\u201327 school year. In a busy first week, the school is once again full of energy, activity and, most importantly, learning.<\/p>\n
I have been very pleased with how well our students have settled into school. The beginning of a new school year brings new teachers, classmates, routines and expectations, and our students have approached these changes very positively. It has been particularly pleasing to see classrooms already focused on learning while teachers also take the time to establish the relationships and routines that are so important for a successful year.<\/p>\n
A very warm welcome also to all our new students and families. Joining a new school, and for some a new country, is a significant transition, and I hope you are already beginning to feel part of the ABIS community.<\/p>\n
I would like to thank our teachers, leadership, administration and support staff for the considerable preparation that has gone into ensuring a smooth start to the year.<\/p>\n
As we move into this year, our focus remains firmly on high-quality teaching and learning across the PYP, MYP and DP, ensuring that every student is appropriately challenged, supported and able to make strong progress.<\/p>\n
Finally, thank you to our parents for your continued trust and support. We look forward to working closely with you throughout the year.<\/p>\n
Have a relaxing long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone again on Sunday.<\/p>\n
