A Wonderful Start to KG2!<\/h3>\n

What a wonderful first week we have had in KG2! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n

Sunday morning brought a few nervous faces from both our children and parents as we began our new school year. Many children were excited to show their parents around their new classroom, taking them on a little tour before saying goodbye. It was lovely to see how quickly those nervous feelings turned into smiles as the children settled in, began playing, reconnected with old friends, and started making new ones.<\/p>\n

This week, we explored our feelings about coming to school through The Colour Monster<\/em>. We talked about the different emotions we might feel and discovered that it is perfectly okay to have lots of different feelings when starting something new.<\/p>\n

We also enjoyed some wonderful stories, including We Don’t Eat Our Classmates<\/em>, Penelope T-Rex<\/em>, and Groovy Joe: Ice Cream and Dinosaurs<\/em>. These stories gave us opportunities to talk, laugh, share ideas, and learn together.<\/p>\n

We have also started getting to know our classroom routines. The children are beginning to learn what we do, where things belong, and how we work and play together as a class. There is still lots to learn, but they are already showing such a positive attitude and growing confidence.<\/p>\n

It has been a lovely first week, and I am so proud of how the children have settled in. I look forward to seeing their confidence continue to grow as we begin our KG2 journey together! \ud83d\udc9b<\/p>\n
