Dear Parents,<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we approach the end of another school year, there is a real sense of excitement in the air.<\/p>\n

First, a very warm welcome to our future Grade 6 students<\/strong>, who will soon be joining Secondary. We are looking forward to meeting them, getting to know them, and helping them navigate this exciting next chapter. Secondary brings new opportunities, new friendships, new challenges, and plenty of growth. We cannot wait to welcome them into the community.<\/p>\n

At the other end of the journey, we also prepare to say goodbye to our Grade 10 students<\/strong>. While I have only had the privilege of teaching them and being their coordinator for one year, they will always hold a special place as my first graduating ABIS MYP cohort.
\nI send them off with a smile, a great deal of pride, and a sense of confidence in what comes next. Over the past year, I have watched them grow as learners, communicators, collaborators, and young adults. They have navigated assessments, deadlines, projects, presentations, eAssessments, and more than a few moments of self-doubt. Through it all, they have shown resilience, humour, kindness, and determination. They should be proud of what they have accomplished.<\/p>\n

And now… for something completely different:
\nIf you have seen the teasers, heard the rumours, or listened carefully to the excited conversations happening around school, you will know that something unusual is coming.
\nThe ABIS Games<\/strong> are almost here.<\/p>\n

ABIS GAMES<\/p><\/div>\n

Without giving too much away, students will be stepping into an experience that asks them to think creatively, collaborate effectively, solve problems, communicate, lead, and sometimes simply trust the process. In many ways, it brings together the very skills we spend all year developing in the classroom.
\nThe final days of school promise to be memorable, energetic, and full of surprises.
\nMost importantly, we hope to see many of you there. Come cheer on your children, celebrate their achievements, and experience the culmination of a year of learning, growth, and community spirit.<\/p>\n

Trust us… you won’t want to miss this one. See you at 8:30 at the gate, with your ticket! We do give participation AND punctuality points!<\/p>\n
