I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.<br \/>\nWe are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:<\/p>\n<p>KG1: they used foot-printing to create ladybug and they started to know about different types of insects.<\/p>\n<p>KG2: Started new painting unit to tell stories through painting, the listen to the audiobook Milo ant the city and then create their own painting by using blocks and in the second class they listen to a story (who am I ) and then they created paintings about farm animals by using animals stamps.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 1: They started new clay unit ( telling stories), they watch a story (the magic pot) and they created the pinch pot by using clay.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 2: They started new printing unit about light and dark and they discovered that we can create art from light and shadows.<\/p>\n<p>Grade3: They started new clay unit, they know everything now about clay and they finished to create their Aline pencil case.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 4: They started printing unit and they are discovering the characteristics of Islamic art like symmetry and unity and geometric shapes, they started to create an Islamic star and then created a relief printing.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 5: they finished their sea creatures pinch pot and they are very excited about the next step.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 6: They continued working on collage unit about their learning journey in ABIS and today they created 2 different sketches with perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>We hope everyone has a productive and enjoyable week ahead, and we wish you a beautiful weekend for everyone.<br \/>\nBest regards<br \/>\n$anaa Elbayed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents, Welcome back!
