Dear KG2 Families,<\/b><\/p>\n

As always, we are happy to share our learning from this week.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

In our Unit of Inquiry \u201cHow We Express Ourselves,\u201d the children worked on their favorite story elements from <\/b>The Very Cranky Bear<\/i><\/b> and <\/b>The Gingerbread Man<\/i><\/b>. It was lovely to see how they shared their understanding\u2014some children drew pictures, while others added labels or simple words.<\/b><\/p>\n

We also introduced a storyboard for <\/b>The Gingerbread Man<\/i><\/b>. The children enjoyed retelling the story using puppets and acting it out. It was wonderful to see their confidence and creativity.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

In Phonics, we introduced the letter Zz. The children enjoyed the story and song and had fun making the \u201czzzzz\u201d sound with actions.<\/b><\/p>\n

In Math, we began learning about position words such as <\/b>in, on, under,<\/i><\/b> and <\/b>behind<\/i><\/b>. We will continue to explore these concepts through more activities.<\/b><\/p>\n
