Dear KG2 Families,<\/b><\/p>\n
We are happy to share some of our learning and special moments from this week!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This week was <\/span>Book Week<\/b> at school, and it was full of fun and excitement. The children enjoyed many activities, such as looking for <\/span>Wally characters<\/b> around the school and collecting stamps from teachers to earn stickers.<\/span><\/p>\n We also had a lovely time welcoming <\/span>Grade 6 students<\/b> into our classroom. They read stories to our children, and it was wonderful to see them listening, engaging, and enjoying reading together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Another highlight was <\/span>Dress-Up Day<\/b>, where children came dressed as their favorite book characters. It was so nice to see the different characters around the school and watch the children guess who is who!<\/span><\/p>\n In our Unit of Inquiry <\/span>\u201cHow We Express Ourselves,\u201d<\/b> we have been learning about story elements, focusing on <\/span>problems and solutions<\/b>. The children explored different stories to identify these parts and began to understand how problems are solved in stories.<\/span><\/p>\n
