By measuring how springs stretch under different loads, they are learning to quantify the relationship between force and extension.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Grade 8:<\/b> In our study of <b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"25\">Biomolecules<\/b>, students investigated <b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"61\">enzyme activity<\/b>. Specifically, they collected data on how temperature fluctuations affect the rate of reaction, witnessing firsthand how biological catalysts respond to their environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">This inquiry-based approach has allowed both year groups to collect essential <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"78\">raw data<\/b> for their lab reports. Students are now focused on their <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"144\">Summative Assessment (Criteria B &amp; C)<\/b>, where they are processing their findings and drawing scientific conclusions. Please note that these reports are <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"295\">due next week<\/b>.
