It is good to see everyone full of energy and this semester is going great. It is just awesome to see you everyday. Here’s a look at the incredible things we did this week and the exciting adventures ahead!

🚀 Grade 7: Exploring the spaces with Mathematics!

You absolutely rocked this week in the criterion A assessment and solving mathematical equations and representing and solving mathematical inequalities . You went outside the class to observe the use of geometry in the real-world. Students are really enjoying it and they are looking forward to finding the connections between Math and real-world, which is a great highlight of the week for me. Next week we will continue exploring geometry and its real world applications.

💡 Grade 8: Mastering Geometry!

This week, we inquired into the pythagoras theorem in 2 and 3 dimensions through a criterion B assessment. We also explored the concepts of similarity and congruency. The engagement during these inquiries are the best thing to experience this week too. We will reflect on the summative and explore similarity and congruency further.

✨ Grade 9: Exploring abstractness of the patterns and relationships!

This week, we started with sequences leading to criterion B assessment coming next. We have inquired into the difference method to find the general term of the sequence. The biggest highlight of the week is student engagement and their curiosity to learn.. Next week, we will continue with sequences and a formative assessment to practice the skills required for criterion B assessment.

📈 Grade 10: Mock e-assessments!

This week students were busy with their mock e-assessments. Next week we will start working with past year papers to be very familiar with the e-assessment platform.

🎯 Grade 11: Exploring data using statistics!

The learning engagement this week has been fantastic! We revised data handling through inquiring into the bivariate data. We revised scatter graphs, correlation, coefficient of correlation and regression. This week we also started with probability. We also completed paper 1 and paper 2 assessments. You are solving questions shared on google classroom and the Kognity. The best highlight of the week is the enthusiasm to learn these concepts. Next week, we will continue problem solving with statistics and probability and the focus will be more on probability.

You have all earned a wonderful and restful weekend. Let’s meet again on Sunday with lots of energy and excitement to learn and explore!!!

Mr. Arun

Happy Thursday everyone!
