We are happy to share our students\u2019 learning from this week!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We have started our new unit, <\/span>\u201cHow We Express Ourselves.\u201d<\/b> This week, we introduced the idea of <\/span>a story<\/b> to the children. They learned about the <\/span>front cover and back cover<\/b>, and the roles of the <\/span>author<\/b> (who writes the words) and the <\/span>illustrator<\/b> (who draws the pictures). We will continue discovering more about stories in the coming weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>Math<\/b>, we explored <\/span>3D shapes<\/b>, focusing on <\/span>cube<\/b> and <\/span>cone<\/b>. The children learned the differences and features of each shape:<\/span><\/p>\n More activities will be provided to help the children explore these shapes further.<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>Phonics<\/b>, we introduced the letter <\/span>Xx<\/b>. The children enjoyed listening to the story and song for the letter. As a group, the children also read <\/span>\u201cThe Sun is Hot in the Sky.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n
