As we progress into the final stretch of the academic year, our students are successfully wrapping up their theoretical and analytical work and moving into an exciting phase of live performance.<\/p>\n<p>Our MYP music students are currently transitioning between units. Here is an update on their progress this week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Grades (7, 8, and 9): Transitioning to Performance \u2013 We are now finishing our third unit of the year (which marks the completion of the first unit for Grade 9). This is a significant milestone as we move from the planning and analysis stages into practical application.<\/li>\n<li>Summer Concert Preparation (June 3rd): We are thrilled to announce that all grades will now embark on preparations for our Summer Concert on June 3rd. Our upcoming units will be deeply focused on performing and reflecting as artists, giving students the opportunity to showcase their technical growth and creative expression on stage.<\/li>\n<li>Music Literacy and Differentiation: As we prepare our concert repertoire, we continue to strengthen foundational skills. Students are applying their knowledge of the music staff to their performance pieces, allowing for personalized learning targets and instrumental differentiation across all grade levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for your continued support of our music program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents, I hope this message finds you well.
