This week we focused heavily on revision through a variety of techniques and small formative tasks to reinforce key concepts and build confidence.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">We are now preparing for the <strong>Criterion A<\/strong> (Knowing and Understanding) summative assessment on Sunday, 1st March which is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their full understanding of the units.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Formative assessments<\/strong> provide ongoing feedback, guide teaching adjustments, and offer multiple low-stakes chances to practise and improve, while <strong>summative assessments<\/strong> allow students to showcase their overall mastery. Together, these varied opportunities help create a complete picture of each student\u2019s learning.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Our<strong> next unit<\/strong> will introduce <strong>cell biology<\/strong>, exploring how cells make matter alive and laying the foundation for deeper biological concepts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have successfully wrapped up our units on Forces, Energy, and Work.
