We learned new skills, namely the use of transition words in a story. These words help the students create a clear beginning, middle, and end, improving the structure of their writing. It was wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm shine through their stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We ended the week with our first Assembly of the school year. Standing on a stage and speaking in front of so many people takes courage, and the students showed that they are true risk-takers.
