We have completed the 17th week of the academic year which happens to be the 1st week of the second semester. It is good to see everyone of you fully rejuvenated and full of energy and this semester is going to be great. It is just awesome to see you everyday. Here\u2019s a look at the incredible things we did this week and the exciting adventures ahead!<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\ude80 Grade 7: Defining Mathematical relationships using expressions !<\/b><\/h3>\n

You absolutely <\/span>rocked<\/b> this week while understanding the algebraic expressions and related terminologies. You have successfully completed the investigation in class which is a great highlight of the week for me. You will now learn the like and unlike terms and start helping x to find its own value while solving equations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udca1 Grade 8: Mastering Linear Algebra and moving to the visuals!<\/b><\/h3>\n

This week, we reviewed last semester\u2019s Math concepts and connected it to the new learning of equations of lines. We successfully completed one criterion B practice assessment using Desmos. We will analyse the equations of the lines and further move into finding the point of intersection using graphical and algebraic methods. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2728 Grade 9: Exploring the triangles!<\/b><\/h3>\n

This week, we have started inquiring into the triangles. Our focus has been the right angled triangle leading to the Pythagoras theorem and trigonometry. We completed Pythagoras theorem and now next week, we will inquire into trigonometry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcc8 Grade 10: Exploring trigonometry to explore the Math in drones!<\/b><\/h3>\n

It has been so good to watch you explore the concepts of trigonometry. We have been exploring bearings and these inquiries are taking us into the right direction. Next week, we will look into the trigonometric functions and circle theorems while reviewing past basic concepts.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfaf Grade 11: The Models are ready to apply in real-life!<\/b><\/h3>\n

The learning engagement this week has been fantastic! We are diving deeper into the applications of the functions in modelling. We are solving exam style questions on functions and modelling. Next week, we will inquire into the Internal assessment component and we will begin the process of completing the Math exploration.<\/span><\/p>\n

You have all earned a wonderful and restful winter break. Go recharge those brilliant brains! \ud83e\udde0<\/span><\/p>\n
