I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to start the new term and would like to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KG1: Continued exploring colors and emotions through creative activities.<\/li>\n<li>KG2: Started a new unit on Discovering Nature, drawing different elements found in nature.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 1: Began a construction unit, building installations using different puzzles and materials.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 2: Started learning about clay, exploring its properties and how to shape it.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 3: Began learning about the Egyptian civilization through art-based activities.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 4: Discovered color theory by creating their own color wheels.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 6: Currently working on their PYP Exhibition projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope everyone has a productive and enjoyable week ahead, and we wish you a lovely long weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming Events \u2013 Reminder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parent-Teacher Conferences: Tuesday &amp; Wednesday, 3:30 \u2013 6:30 pm<\/li>\n<li>Parent Coffee Morning: Tuesday, 8:00 \u2013 9:30 am<\/li>\n<li>ASAs Start: Monday (not Wednesday due to PTC)<\/li>\n<li>KG1\u2013Grade 1 Assembly: Thursday 22nd<\/li>\n<li>Oman Week: 1\u20135 February (further details to follow)<\/li>\n<li>International Food Evening: Thursday, 5th February<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for your continued support.
