Grade 12<\/h3>\n

Mock Exams & Revision<\/b> We spent the week reflecting on the Mocks. It was time to look in the mirror (and at the papers) to see where we stand. We are now doing unit-wise checks to ensure our knowledge is solid\u2014you could say we are rectifying<\/b> our errors before the final circuit!<\/p>\n

Physics HL<\/b><\/p>\n

    Topic:<\/b> Relativity & Scheduling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Update:<\/b> A.5 Relativity is finally over\u2014it\u2019s about time<\/b> (literally)! A.4 is just three classes away from the finish line.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The Plan:<\/b> Since our Thursdays kept getting used<\/i> by school events, the schedule experienced some destructive interference<\/b>. We\u2019ve decided to give SL a break so we can fix the misalignment. It’s all relative, right?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Physics SL<\/b><\/p>\n

      Topic:<\/b> Thermal Physics (Theme B)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Update:<\/b> Things are really heating up<\/b>! We are moving onwards and upwards (like hot air) towards the Greenhouse Effect next week.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      The Plan:<\/b> That will finish Theme B. In Term 3, we will pause to let HL catch up so we can finally reach thermal equilibrium<\/b> as a cohort.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Math AA HL<\/b><\/p>\n

        Topic:<\/b> Induction & Complex Numbers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Update:<\/b> We had a Summative on Mathematical Induction. We proved the “base case”: missed Wednesdays are a pain!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        The Plan:<\/b> We only have one class for Complex Numbers this term. The schedule is getting a bit complex<\/b> (and perhaps a little imaginary<\/b>), so the big catch-up will happen next term.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Topic:<\/b> Logarithms<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Update:<\/b> We are logging<\/b> some serious progress! We are working through Log functions right now.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          The Plan:<\/b> No tests yet\u2014we are delaying the Summatives until Term 3. We\u2019re just finding our rhythm<\/b> (or loga-rhythm) for now.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Topic:<\/b> Waves & Electricity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • Unit: The Pulse of the System<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Update:<\/b> We\u2019ve started a new unit, and honestly? We are making waves<\/b>! The excitement in the room is simply electric<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
