However, by approaching this time with a <b>growth mindset<\/b> and leveraging key <b>Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills<\/b>\u2014especially <b>time management<\/b>\u2014we can transform this feeling from one of stress into one of positive opportunity.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">This is a chance for our students to demonstrate the deep learning they have engaged in over the past semester. They have the knowledge and skills; there is nothing fundamentally &#8220;new&#8221; to face.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Dear families, your support during this period is crucial.<\/p>\n<h5 data-path-to-node=\"7\"><strong>Focus on Growth, Not Just Grades<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Please help to relieve some of the inherent stress by <b>not applying undue pressure for them to achieve top results<\/b>. (Can you remember any of your specific exam scores from Grade 7? I certainly can&#8217;t!) Instead, let&#8217;s focus on the <b>growth<\/b> they have shown in their own learning journey.<\/p>\n<h5 data-path-to-node=\"9\"><strong>Practical Steps for Success<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">You can provide the greatest chance of success by ensuring your child feels supported in three key areas:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"11\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11,0,0\"><b>Time Management and Tasks:<\/b> Help them break down large tasks and deadlines into manageable steps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11,1,0\"><b>A Healthy Balanced Diet:<\/b> Maintain consistent, nutritious meals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11,2,0\"><b>Sufficient Sleep:<\/b> Ensure they are getting adequate rest to maximize cognitive function.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 data-path-to-node=\"12\"><strong>A Well-Deserved Break Awaits<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">This time next week, it will all be over as we head toward a well-deserved school break!<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">We feel extremely proud of the progress this cohort has made as they continue to navigate new expectations and a challenging curriculum.
