The energy has been lively and purposeful across all classes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"757\"><strong data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"511\">Grade 7s<\/strong> explored hobbies as the final puzzle piece in describing themselves.<br \/>\nThey have now completed their <strong data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"626\">Criterion A<\/strong>, and next week they will tackle <strong data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"674\">Criterion D<\/strong> (writing) and <strong data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"704\">Criterion C<\/strong> (speaking). It is all coming together beautifully.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"1121\"><strong data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"771\">Grade 8s<\/strong> worked on their Vox Pop recordings, and I cannot wait to watch all the mini interviews on hobbies and pastimes.<br \/>\nTheir infographic (<strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"918\">Criterion D<\/strong>) is now complete too. Next week, as a wrap up, we will step back and reflect on the WHY. Why did we study this unit, what was the point, and how does it connect to our lives and to our other subjects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1260\"><strong data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1135\">Grade 9s<\/strong> spent the week preparing for their <strong data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1186\">Criterion C<\/strong> next week. They are ready, confident, and eager to show their progress.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1465\"><strong data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1275\">Grade 10s<\/strong> completed their <strong data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1307\">Criterion D<\/strong> with success and are now putting the final touches on their <strong data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1383\">Criterion C<\/strong> for the 11th. The level of collaboration and creativity has been lovely to see.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1852\"><strong data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1482\">DP students<\/strong> continued exploring the environment, and what better way to discuss it than by actually being in it.<br \/>\nAs you can see in our picture, real surroundings make for richer, more authentic learning.<br data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1677\" \/>Amanda was able to join the others outside last week, but this week, she was clearly not outside\u2026 she was sitting her mocks.
