We are happy to share this week\u2019s learning with you.<\/span><\/p>\n First, <\/span>thank you for joining us at the Winter Concert<\/b>. The children practiced with so much excitement, and having you there made them feel proud and confident.<\/span><\/p>\n In our Unit of Inquiry, <\/span>How the World Works<\/span><\/i>, we explored <\/span>the sky and weather<\/b>. The children enjoyed making their own <\/span>clouds<\/b> and drawing what they could see in the sky on paper plates. We also started learning our <\/span>seasonal song<\/b>, which the children loved singing during our circle time.<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>Phonics<\/b>, we learned the <\/span>letter G<\/b> through a fun story and song. The children created a <\/span>giraffe craft<\/b>, which helped them remember the sound.<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>Mathematics<\/b>, we practiced <\/span>writing numbers<\/b> and matching them to their <\/span>quantities<\/b>. We also revisited 2D shapes \u2014 <\/span>circle, rectangle, triangle,<\/b> and <\/span>square<\/b> \u2014 and talked about how many <\/span>sides<\/b> and <\/span>corners<\/b> each shape has.<\/span><\/p>\n
