As part of this reflection, students engaged in <\/span><b>Sticky Note Critiques<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a simple yet powerful strategy for peer feedback. This method encourages quiet, thoughtful responses and ensures that even the most reserved voices in the classroom are heard. It also provides a time-efficient alternative to lengthy verbal critiques while still supporting meaningful dialogue about artistic growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To guide their feedback, students used the <\/span><b>Praise\u2013Polish (P&amp;P)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> structure:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Praise:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> offering a specific compliment about a successful aspect of the artwork<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Polish:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> providing a clear suggestion for how the work could be improved<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each student received multiple sticky notes and participated in at least <\/span><b>three rounds of feedback<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, ensuring they gathered a variety of perspectives. Students also shared their written exhibition texts to check for alignment between intention and outcome\u2014an important step in developing thoughtful, reflective artists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Student Spotlight:<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A big well done to <\/span><b>Durra<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Juri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for their strong artistic effort, thoughtful reflections, and excellent participation in the critique process. Their ability to connect feedback to meaningful improvements truly stood out this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Looking Ahead:<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Next week, students will continue building their exhibition skills as they refine their reflections and prepare their artworks for display.
