This week, every class took meaningful steps forward\u2014polishing their performance pieces, strengthening their musical skills, and growing in confidence as young performers. The music room has been full of energy, determination, and joyful sound!<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"658\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"718\"><strong data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"716\">KG1 &amp; KG2 \u2013 Growing Steady and Singing Proudly<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"922\">Following last week\u2019s exploration of soundscapes, our Kindergarten musicians took a big leap into performance mode. The focus this week was on <strong data-start=\"862\" data-end=\"877\">steady beat<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"896\">clear singing<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"902\" data-end=\"921\">stage readiness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"953\"><strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"951\">This Week&#8217;s Progress:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1228\">\n<li data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1029\">\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1029\">Practising their concert songs with stronger voices and clearer actions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1102\">\n<p data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1102\">Keeping a steady beat while moving, clapping, or playing instruments<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1161\">\n<p data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1161\">Learning how to <em data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1137\">start together<\/em> and <em data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1159\">finish together<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1228\">\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1228\">Building confidence through short \u201cmini-performances\u201d in class<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1362\">Our KG learners are now understanding what it means to perform for an audience\u2014listening, focusing, and enjoying the music together.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1367\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1445\"><strong data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1443\">Grade 1 &amp; Grade 2 \u2013 Polishing Soundscapes &amp; Strengthening Rhythm<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1697\">Grades 1 and 2 continued refining their <strong data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1501\">soundscapes<\/strong>, this time focusing on smooth transitions, dynamic changes, and teamwork.
