{"id":324465,"date":"2025-11-19T14:44:03","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T10:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=324465"},"modified":"2025-11-19T14:45:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T10:45:11","slug":"kids-helping-cats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2025\/11\/19\/kids-helping-cats\/","title":{"rendered":"Kids Helping Cats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"99\" data-end=\"355\">This weekend in Palm Garden, 15 amazing kids took action to help our community cats!<br data-start=\"187\" data-end=\"190\" \/>With support from their moms and families, they organized a bake sale to raise awareness about the cats living in Palm Garden and the TNR project taking place there.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"357\" data-end=\"672\">TNR stands for Trap, <em data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"389\">Nurture<\/em>, Release \u2014 a humane method that helps stabilize the cat population and reduce suffering. As part of this project, the cats are taken to a supportive local vet, Dr. Usman Shakir, who provides a generous discounted rate: 12 OMR for male nurturing and 20 OMR for females.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"820\">Thanks to the hard work of our young volunteers, the bake sale raised about 150 OMR \u2014 enough to help multiple cats receive the care they need.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"1060\">These young leaders showed <em data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"867\">entrepreneurship<\/em>, <em data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"885\">social justice<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"921\">true community participation<\/em>.
