There&#8217;s a definite &#8220;buzz&#8221; in the air as we wrap up major topics and the senior students shift into high-gear revision.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a look at what we\u2019ve been grappling with (sometimes literally):<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\ud83d\udcaa Grade 10: May the Net Force Be With You<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The clear highlight of the week belongs to <b>Grade 10 Physics<\/b>. After being formally introduced to the joys of <b>acceleration<\/b> (a.k.a. &#8220;speeding up,&#8221; &#8220;slowing down,&#8221; and &#8220;turning&#8221;), we ended our week with a very hands-on investigation.<\/p>\n<p>To truly understand <b>Net Forces<\/b>, we held a small, very scientific, and totally-not-just-for-fun arm-wrestling tournament. \ud83e\udd3c<\/p>\n<p>It was the perfect way to demonstrate balanced forces (the stalemate) vs. unbalanced forces (the glorious victory). The entire <b>Functions unit is complete<\/b>. After mastering domain, range, and inverses, we&#8217;re now kicking off our next adventure with <b>Exponents<\/b>. (Things are about to get big, fast. \ud83d\udcc8)<\/li>\n<li><b>Math HL:<\/b> A huge congratulations to the HL crew for officially finishing <b>Mathematical Induction<\/b>. This is one of the most logically demanding topics, and they&#8217;ve persevered. The last domino has fallen!<\/li>\n<li><b>Physics SL:<\/b> We have put a bow on <b>Unit A: Kinematics<\/b>. They can now describe the motion of <i>anything<\/i> with graphs and equations. (Next up: <i>why<\/i> things move!)<\/li>\n<li><b>Physics HL:<\/b> We are T-minus 30 minutes from completing our mind-bending journey into <b>Einstein&#8217;s Special Relativity<\/b>. After one final look at timey-wimey-ness, we will begin <b>Rigid Body Mechanics<\/b> (think spinning, tumbling, and torques) to officially close out the massive Unit A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/11\/Gemini_Generated_Image_3hy3k83hy3k83hy3-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-324047 aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/11\/Gemini_Generated_Image_3hy3k83hy3k83hy3-1-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"512\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 512px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 512\/512;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u2694\ufe0f Grade 12: Sharpening the Swords<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For our seniors, the atmosphere has shifted. The finish line of revision is in sight, and the Mocks are on the horizon.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Math (SL &amp; HL):<\/b> <b>REVISION MODE is ON.<\/b> We are in full review, tackling practice problems, identifying weak spots, and connecting the dots from the past two years. The focus is intense.<\/li>\n<li><b>Physics (HL):<\/b> The grand revision tour is coming to an end. We are now officially transitioning into the most crucial phase: <b>Past Papers<\/b>. This is where we stop just <i>knowing<\/i> the content and start <i>mastering<\/i> the exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s a demanding time for everyone, especially Grade 12. Thanks for all your support at home.
