I hope you all enjoyed your lovely break. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KG1 \u2013 Students started to practice oval and stars.<\/li>\n<li>KG2 \u2013 They made a puppet for boy &amp; a girl by using different materials.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 1 \u2013 Students started a printing unit and they made a creative design by using leaf print.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 2 \u2013 Students started to design a bedroom by identifying their needs and wants.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 3 &#8211; students started to know the meaning of the word cubism and self portrait to create their own self portrait like Picasso.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 4 \u2013 Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques and they finished to create their own collage as a summative assessment and they made good efforts.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Grade 5 &#8211; started a new unit (Painting) and they started to know the Impressionism style and Van Gogh with his fantastic painting starry night, they practiced some brush strokes to create a sky with wind, flow or energy.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 6 \u2013 Inspired by Eduard Munich , students started to create their own sketches about their emotions by using zindegals art as a starting for the printing unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.<\/p>\n<p>Wishing you all a beautiful and creative weekend ! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udfa8 Visual Art Weekly Update Welcome back!
