I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KG1 \u2013 Students started to practice oval and stars.<\/li>\n<li>KG2 \u2013 They made a game by using their feet in different types of textures and fabric&#8217;s.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 1 \u2013 Students finished the summative assessment as drawing a family portrait by using all elements of art.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 2 \u2013 Students made groups and they created different ideas about themselves.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 3 &#8211; students finished their summative assessments project for the Van Gogh sunflowers and they did their reflection.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 4 \u2013 Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques and they finished to create their own collage as a summative assessment and they made good efforts.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Grade 5 &#8211; started a new unit (Painting) and they started to know the Impressionism style and Van Gogh with his fantastic painting starry night.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 6 \u2013 Inspired by Jacob Lawrence, students finished working on their own large projects, developing personal stories about migration through art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.<\/p>\n<p>Wishing you all a beautiful and creative break! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n<p>You can check the link for students photos around the class:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1-7uSuAPO4Ouz5GnwFnRPHn_-JGJFQYbm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udfa8 Visual Art Weekly Update Welcome back!
