This week, our students continued exploring invasion games, building on their skills in teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. Grade 1 students participated in \u201cSpace Explorers,\u201d practicing safe movement around the area while avoiding collisions. They also focused on gentle passing with soft balls and worked in small groups to score points by reaching designated target zones, developing early spatial awareness and cooperation. Grades 2\u20133 played \u201cTreasure Capture,\u201d a game that challenged them to pass, move, and evade defenders. During these sessions, students practiced basic defending techniques, such as intercepting passes and marking opponents, and applied simple strategies to maintain possession and create scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Grades 4\u20136 engaged in Bench Ball, focusing on accurate passing, effective teamwork, and proper positioning, as well as Handball drills that emphasized dribbling, shooting, and defensive movements. These activities allowed students to refine tactical awareness, communication, and collaboration during gameplay.<\/p>\n
Our students demonstrated great energy and enthusiasm throughout the lessons. Grade 1 students displayed curiosity and joy as they learned to cooperate with their peers, while Grades 2\u20133 impressed with their developing teamwork and fair play. Grades 4\u20136 showed growing confidence in applying tactics, communicating effectively, and supporting teammates. Across all year levels, students consistently demonstrated cooperation, perseverance, and a willingness to take on new challenges.<\/p>\n
In the coming weeks, students will continue to build their game awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. They will focus on creating and using space effectively, supporting teammates through communication, and making thoughtful decisions during gameplay.
