This week, they received a picture of a human body outline and drew a skeleton inside it. During our discussion, we asked the question, <em data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"374\">\u201cWhy do we have a skeleton?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"527\">Some of their thoughtful answers included:<br data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"423\" \/>\ud83e\uddb4 \u201cIt protects our brain.\u201d<br data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"453\" \/>\ud83e\uddb4 \u201cFor moving our body to run.\u201d<br data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"488\" \/>\ud83e\uddb4 \u201cSo we can walk.\u201d<br data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"511\" \/>\ud83e\uddb4 \u201cTo dance!\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"635\">The children are developing their understanding of how our skeleton helps us move, stand, and stay safe!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Broadcaster Update \u2013 Our Skeleton Learning Last week, the students had the opportunity to work collaboratively to build a skeleton puzzle.
