Dear Parents and Guardians,<\/span><\/p>\n

We are excited to announce that students of Al Batinah International School once again have the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) National Science Olympiad (NSO) and the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, the registration process is new. Students must be registered directly by their parents through the official SOF portal. The Access code for our school is <\/span>930175<\/b>. Please ensure you put this in correctly so that the certificates will reach our school. You can find the self-registration link below:<\/span><\/p>\n

To support our students in achieving their best, we are launching a new After-School Activity (ASA) specifically designed to train them for these Olympiads from <\/span>Term 2 on Mondays<\/b>. The ASA will focus on the problem-solving techniques in the NSO and IMO only. If you choose that your child participates in the <\/span>other examinations<\/b> mentioned in the link, I request you to let us know <\/span>before 2nd October 2025<\/b> since we would be required to book those dates for the tests to be conducted. The preparation for the extra ones would be your responsibility.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The exams will be conducted <\/span>at school<\/b> on a chosen date between <\/span>November 15, 2025 and December 15, 2025<\/b>. We shall keep you informed about the chosen dates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the most effective training, SOF provides workbooks and preparatory materials for participating students. Purchasing books is not compulsory, but will help your child prepare\/learn\/score better.\u00a0 Please note that the school will handle the entire ordering process. All you need to do is ensure the payment transfer to the school is completed before the deadline so we can place the order promptly and begin practice sessions as soon as the books arrive.<\/span><\/p>\n
